January of last year, I signed with the Kosciusko Community Foundation to begin funding a scholarship for bullied kids that wanted to get their education. In order to fund the scholarship, we needed to raise $25,000 in two years. I’m excited to announce that we have hit that mark. Thank you to all who donated and helped make this possible. The scholarship will be open for applications in the spring of 2025.
Excited to announce that the funding of the Bowling Against Bullying RISE UP! Scholarship has reached the halfway point thanks to a $3,000 donation today. Now is the time to get in those end of the year donations for 2023. Checks can be made out to the Kosciusko County Community Foundation Bowling Against Bullying scholarship.
Sitting on the deck digesting today. We served 100 kids today. Chris Cage was awesome talking about Christian. I believe that message went to those who needed to hear it. Some girls came and gave me this note. Allot of kids said thank you. Sometimes I don’t know what to say back. I always say, “you’re welcome”, but I was just a dude with an idea. It was allot of people and businesses that gave their money to make it happen. So a thanks to all you guys that volunteer every year and the businesses that support BAB. LOVE TO ALL OF YOU GUYS.
For today, Chris Cage will be speaking the first 20 minutes about his son, Christian. The lanes will not be open during this time.
Thank you to Alderfer Bergen & Company for their donation to Bowling Against Bullying.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: I have signed with the Kosciusko County Community Foundation to start an annual college scholarship for bullied children. The scholarship will be named The Bowling Against Bullying RISE UP Scholarship. A generous company, that wishes to remain anonymous, has kicked off the campaign with $5,000. It takes $25,000 to start an annual scholarship. If you would like to donate to this scholarship, checks can be made out to the foundation with RISE UP Scholarship on the memo line .
We will still have the bowling event. We feel that it is time to stretch out and look at other ways we can help survivors of bullying succeed.
Thank you all for your donations. Love you guy.
